Info: "Like many Nine Inch Nails’ fans, I was expecting a lot about their 2005 album, With Teeth. Because The Fragile era was so exciting. But when I’ve heard the first single ‘The Hand that Feeds‘, I was disapointed. I think I was begging for something else. The song was too easy. Then, I’ve learned to “never expect anything from you favorite bands” (of from anyone). Anyway, when Trent Reznor gave the opportunity to everyone to remix their songs, I’ve decided to remix The Hand that Feeds. I hope you’re going to like this manipulation. I was also disapointed when I’ve went in Paris, at Le Zenith (2005) to see Nine Inch Nails live. The show was crap."

Bin mir mal ziemlich sicher, dass die meisten hier bereits die Remixes von 65dos kennen, für diejenigen, dies nicht tun, gibts auf www.65kids.com den Downloadlink dazu.

Hab euch hier mal die Originale zu den Remixes rausgesucht, damit man die Vergleiche hört (sind ja doch meist "unbekanntere" Sachen die 65 da "neu eingekleidet" haben).

Und anfangs glaube ich auch noch Aphex Twin rauszuhoeren? Falls irgendjemand noch eins der remixten Lieder in diesem Track kennt, wäre ich sehr froh, wenn er mir die Namen dieser zukommen lassen könnte - vor Allem der Rap-Teil hat es mir ziemlich angetan.

Ohne jetzt zu jedem Remix einzeln etwas zu schreiben, will ich hier allgemein sagen, dass diese Tracks im Ganzen eine wunderbare Sache sind - fast schon wie ein eigenes Album. 65 drücken jedem der Songs ihren Stempel auf, ohne die Songs total zu entfremden. Fast wie 65daysofstatic mit Lyrics, sehr interessant, mir gefällts. Ob ein ganzes Album von 65dos mit Gesang gut wäre,
wer weiß? Hier allerdings gibts Abwechslung, verschiedene Stimmen, Lyrics die in verschiedene Richtungen gehen.

Viele der Songs sind in der Originalversion auch gut, aber auch aus (in meinen Augen) komplett langweiligen und leblosen Songs - wie zB Burn von Alkaline Trio - machen 65 etwas, das in meinen Ohren auf einmal gut klingt, wo auf einmal Gefühl da ist - 65 haucht diesen Songs Leben ein.

Mein Favourite bleibt der Reading in Bed Remix - vielleicht auch deswegen, weil es der erste 65 Remix war den ich gehört habe (neben den Mash Ups die sie vor den Konzerten spielen). Und auch der Kill your own Remix hats mir ziemlich angetan.

Kann man nur hoffen, dass 65dos noch öfter dazukommen, aus tollen Songs noch etwas Wunderbareres zu zaubern.
