Empires beschreiben sich selbst auf ihrer Myspace-Seite als Downtempo/Metal. Doch meiner Meinung nach sind bei ihnen die Einflüsse von Post-Rock und Doom kaum wegzuhören. Eindeutig als Quelle der Inspiration sind hier größen wie Isis oder Red Sparowes zu nennen. Als ich das Album fand, lief es bei mir nur noch rauf und runter! Wirklich ein sehr gelungenes Werk und ein absolutes Muss für alle instrumental Fans! Genre: Doom/Metal/Post-Rock
