An interesting take on the genre, your collection wouldn't be complete without this oddball gem of a release.Durchaus ein interessanter Ansatz. Irgendwo ist er zwar ja schon bekannt - Bitcrush, French Teen Idol und Konsorten springen einem ins Gedächtnis - trotzdem wirkt reconnect, reconstruct. eigenständig. Eigentlich mehr dem Ambient Genre als dem Post Rock zuzuschreiben, sind es besonders die ruhigeren Tracks, wie we amplify each other oder son of dirt, die eben genau diese Eigenständigkeit ausmachen und dieses Release zu etwas besonderem machen.
