Social Haven of Cultural Decline ist die sogenannte DIY Demo von Kiruna aus Lyon. Auf den 4 Tracks ihrer ersten Veröffentlichung paart sich energischer Post-Hardcore mit vertracktem Noise-Rock. Klangteppiche aus dissonanten Gitarrenmelodien mischen sich mit harten Riffs, denen vom wuchtigen Bass und Schlagzeug gehörig Nachdruck verliehen wird. Hinzu kommen wütende Lyrics, die sich gesungen und geschrien in die Songs einfügen.Kiruna treffen mit ihrem dreckigen teils druckvollen teils atmosphärischen Sound genau meinen Geschmack.
