Neuer Monat, neuer Track: Outbreak heißt der neue Track vom work in progress-Album Voyage und dieses mal wandeln Franco und Duke auf den Pfaden von Radiohead und Co.Outbreak beginnt mit einem elektronischen Intro, das jedoch ziemlich schnell einem, wie ich es nenne, klassichen Radiohead-Riff weichen muss. Vom Aufbau her hält man sich, bis auf das kurze Intro, an die Regeln des alternative Rock, was die Qualität des Songs jedoch keineswegs mindert.
Insgesamt passt Outbreak hervorragend in das Gesamtbild des Albums Voyage, das sich immer mehr als eine Reise durch die Facetten der Rockmusik offenbart. Ich freu mich schon auf Mai...

Another month, another track... and this one is called Outbreak and adds a taste of Radiohead to the work in progress Voyage.
Outbreak starts off with an electronic intro, which soon has to make way to a Radioheade-sque riff. Structurally everything happens inside of the realm of alternative rock... except of the intro, I would say. But this does not in any way impair the qualities of this track.
All in all, Outbreak fits perfectly into the scheme of Voyage, which slowly reveals itself to be a voyage through all the different styles rock music can manifest itself in. I'm definitely looking forward to May...
